It was a 4 day marathon that somewhere in the middle of all the costume changes and pig roasting we got married.
Not going to lie – it was a one hell of a party.
Mike and I came across these video's earlier today - needless to say they are ridiculous.
Day 1 was kicked off with a Kootneay “Hootenanny”
Note: Pay special attention to Bridget and all her pregnancy in video #2 – Day one of Octoberfest was to much her as she ended up going into the labor later that evening.
Day 2- 80’s Golf Tournament - No videos (which is probably a good thing)
Day 3 - Wedding
A little dancing.......
Day 4 – Pig Roast & Boat Races
Pig Roast
Boat races.......
Day 5 – Chilling in one of our favorite wedding gifts
365 days later......
To celebrated our 1st anniversary we decided to do a little Singapore sight seeing and headed over to a small island called Pulau Ubin.
Pulau Ubin is located about 2km offshore from Singapore and is a cute little backwater place tucked into the Straits of Johour. We took a 10 minute boat ride across the harbor and spent the day cruising around on rented bikes having lunch and just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Lunch Time!
Me making a new friend
He wanted nothing to do with me....
Thank-you to everyone for the phone calls, gifts and warm wishes – the past year has been anything but boring ;)
Cheers
Risha & Mike
